Special Correspondent

Puducherry: M. Kandasamy (Congress), elected from Bahoor reserved constituency, will be sworn in as Minister at a simple ceremony at Raj Nivas on June 17. An informed source said on Sunday that his portfolio would be decided that day. His induction would see the Cabinet strength restored to six. He is filling a vacancy following the resignation of the then Welfare Minister P. Angalane in the wake of certain allegations against him.
