This Day That Age
The Kerala Chief Minister, Mr. E.M. Sankaran Nambudiripad, said in Trivandrum on June 10 that at the recent Chief Ministers' conference it was agreed that security arrangements in connection with Ministers' tours and the ostentatious display of flags on Ministers' cars should be dispensed with. The Chief Minister said his Government was in entire agreement with the decision. "Actually we had taken some steps in the direction of reducing the security arrangements even before the Chief Ministers' conference. The decision would be put into effect in Trivandrum in a few days."
