Consecration of Ramakrishna temple

Bangalore: A consecration ceremony to celebrate the completion of the construction of Phase I of the Sri Ramakrishna Universal Temple will be held at 9 a.m. on July 1 in Chicago.

The temple is being built by the Vivekananda Vedanta Society of Chicago.

Vivekananda's visit

The temple commemorates Swami Vivekananda's visit to Chicago in 1893 to address the Parliament of Religions, according to a release by the society.
