CUDDALORE: In a lightning strike, P.Jothi (40) of Kamaraj Nagar in Nellikuppam died on Sunday. While she was grazing cattle it started raining heavily forcing her to take shelter under a neem tree. When the lightning descended on the tree, Jothi fell unconscious and she never recovered even after admission to the government hospital. The Nellikuppam police have registered a case.
