Homam performed at Yadagirigutta

SEEKING BLESSINGS: Priests performing Sri Sudarshana Narasimha Gayatri Homam in the Lakshminarasimha Swamy temple at Yadagirigutta in Nalgonda district on Monday.

NALGONDA: Priests of the Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy temple at Yadagirigutta on Monday performed `Sri Sudarshana Narasimha Gayatri Homam' praying for abundant rains and well being of the world.

"The Homam is also meant for relieving people of all sorts of evils and troubles," temple executive officer S. Kondal Rao said in a press release. The rituals — Swasthi Vachanam, Poornahuthi, Mantra Pushpam and Aaseervachanam — started at 10.30 a.m. on the premises of the temple. A team of priests led by Aachhi Venugopala Charyulu, the Yagnacharya and Jeedikanti Sudarshana Chari, the temple's head priest, performed the rituals.
