CII condoles death of Gopalakrishnan

CHENNAI: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Southern Region has offered its "deepest condolences" over the death of The Hindu Business Editor R. Gopalakrishnan on June 5.

In a message, CII Southern Region Chairman P.K. Mohapatra said, "Mr. Gopalakrishnan's demise is an irreparable loss to the industry. His incisive analysis on issues pertaining to trade and industry was admired by leaders of industry."

"As an avid columnist, he was very passionate on the initiatives of industry associations and his articles/features continued to be the voice of industry, over the decades," he said.
