Chennai: BCCI secretary Niranjan Shah has said injured paceman Zaheer Khan would be considered for selection for the series in Ireland and England. "From the MRI scans, it appears the injury is not serious," said Mr. Shah on Monday. Zaheer, who injured his groin during the second ODI of the Asia-Africa series, was confident that he would recover in time for the June 12 selection. "I am fit. There is nothing to worry about." However, the Indian cricket team physio John Gloster, said, as per the guidelines, he had sent his report to the BCCI. "I have seen the MRI reports, but I am not allowed to comment on specific injuries to the media. All I can say is that I sent one report on Sunday night and another one on Monday morning."
