Sakthivel Pandian, Visalatchi claim under-25 titles

MADURAI: V.S. Sakthivel Pandian of Lion MHSS (3.5 points) and R. Visalatchi of Jaycees MHSS (Sivakasi, 3.5 points) claimed the boys' and girls' under-25 titles in the State-level rapid chess tournament at Madurai on Sunday.

Praveenkumar (Charan Vidyalaya); under-8: Aravind Chidambaram (TVS MHSS) 3.5. Girls (under-15): K. Seethalakshmi (Dolphin MHSS) 3; under-12: S.D.R. Indhuja (Jaycees MHSS) 5.

Selection trials
