Big win for Syndicate Bank

Bangalore: Rajesh Kamath's unbeaten 80 along with R. Navali's knock (51 n.o.) guided Syndicate Bank to a nine-wicket victory over Bangalore Telephones in The Hindu Trophy tournament match here on Monday.

Bangalore Telephones scored 156 for nine in 30 overs with B.T. Satish grabbing four wickets and Shahvir Tarapore snaring two wickets. Chasing 156, Syndicate Bank posted the winning runs in 20 overs.

BHEL (EDN) SC 181 for seven in 30 overs (Devaraj 60) lost to MICO Naganathapura Sp. Club 182 for two in 25 overs (Ramesh Babu 61 n.o., Chanabasappa 56).

BEML Rail Coach 194 for nine in 30 overs (A. Manohar 78) bt BHEL (EPD) SC 70 in 16.4 overs (Mohan Kumar four for 13).

Bangalore Mahanagara Palike 53 in 16.4 overs (Shoaib Manager five for 15) lost to RWF 54 for two in 8.3 overs.

MICO SC 213 in 26.2 overs (Raghu foru for 33) bt Raichur Thermal FS 94 in 18.4 overs.

KGS 128 in 27.3 overs (H. Surendra four for 35) lost to Central Excise and Customs 129 for one in 12 overs (H. Surendra 59 n.o.).
