NIE schools in celebratory mood

BANGALORE: There is unbridled enthusiasm in schools that are part of The Hindu 's NIE programme. It is not without reason. Many schools have recorded excellent results be it in Secondary School Leaving Certificate examination or the Class X and XII examinations conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

JSS Public School, Banashankari, has recorded cent per cent pass results in the Class X examination conducted by CBSE. As many as nine students have scored above 90 per cent. Chirayu. D. Belthur (93.2 per cent) is the school topper, while Nikita. M. Rao (93 per cent) has come second. Aditi Vutukuru has scored a centum in Sanskrit. All the students of Mirambika School for New Age, J.P. Nagar, who appeared for Class X CBSE examination, have passed. Chetan. S. Bademi (93.4 per cent) is the school topper. Sukanya Raju (90.6 per cent) has stood second.

In SSLC examination, Amara Jyothi English High School, K.R. Puram; East West Public School, Rajajinagar; Gnana Teja School, Mathikere; Cauvery High School, Sahakaranagar, and Twinklers High School, Vijayanagar, have recorded excellent results. Varun S. (95.84 per cent) is the topper of Amara Jyothi English High School, while Bindiya. T.M. (94.88 per cent) has come second. Sudarshan. H. and Nagashree J. by scoring 94.24 per cent are the school toppers of East West Public School. Srikanth. P. Chakravarthy (92.32 per cent) has come second. In Twinklers High School, eight students have passed in first class. Kumar Nakul. V. S. (94.5 per cent) is the school topper. In Gnana Teja School, 21 students have secured distinction. B.K. Gautham (96.16 per cent) is the school topper, while Sumitha. A. (95.2 per cent) has come second. In Cauvery School, 23 students have passed in first class.
