BSP stand today
New Delhi:
Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati on Monday said she would announce in writing her party's stand on the presidential election before returning to Lucknow on Tuesday.
She was talking to newsmen after a two-hour dinner meeting with Congress president Sonia Gandhi here.
After seeing off Ms. Gandhi, Ms. Mayawati said the talks took place "in a very good atmosphere" with both sides putting forth their viewpoints.
"Had there been differences, would it have been possible to have the meeting for two hours?"
Ms. Gandhi, however, did not talk to mediapersons.
