Awareness programmes

Chennai : The State Labour Department is organising several programmes to spread awareness on eradication of child labour from June 12 to 14.

On Tuesday, eminent personalities and student athletes participated in a run against child labour at 7.30 a.m. at Marina Beach.

A State-level sports meet for students from rehabilitation schools will be held at the Nehru Park playground here on Wednesday. On the third day, a workshop for stakeholders will be held at IMAGE auditorium in R.A. Puram.
