Corrections and Clarifications

* The heading of a Bernama report was "[Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad] Badawi marries again" ("International" page, June 10, 2007). A reader points out that Badawi is the family name and that the heading should have been "Abdullah Ahmad Badawi marries again" or "Malaysian PM marries again".

* The name of the Railway Board Chairman is J.P. Batra, and not J.P. Bata, as was published in a report "Railways Working Group suggests formation of SPV [Special Purpose Vehicle]" (June 8, 2007).

* The heading of a PTI report was "NHB [National Housing Bank] relaxes age restriction for reserve mortgage" (Property Plus, June 9, 2007). A number of readers point out that it should have been "reverse mortgage". This detail was incorrect in the text, where it went as Reserve Mortgage Loan (RML). The error was rectified in the Bangalore edition.

* It is the Director General of Police and not Gross Domestic Product. A reader points out that the heading of a report "MP's challenge to GDP" (Hyderabad city, June 9, 2007, page 3) should have been "MP's challenge to DGP", and as stated in the text.
