Eviction is not hot news now

Hardly two weeks ago, it was the Munnar demolition drive that dominated TV channels and print media. But, the fever outbreak prompted them to shift focus. With political leaders also switching tracks to capitalise on this opportunity, the eviction drive lost momentum on the news circuit. The political undercurrents that threaten to arrest the drive have barely kept the issue alive.
