TRS activists present 399 flowers to the Government to scrap GO 399

ADILABAD: Over 400 activists of Telangana Rashtra Samiti's (TRS) Adilabad district unit on Tuesday staged a rally at the Collectorate sporting flowers in their ears. They were demanding scrapping of GO 399 and implementation of GO 610 in letter and spirit.

Silent rally

The demonstrators embarked on the `silent' rally from MP T. Madhusudan Reddy's house to the district Collectorate.

They submitted a memorandum to District Revenue Officer in-charge Gangaram.

The Telangana Rashtra Samiti activists also handed him over 399 flowers, in keeping with the GO 399, to be sent to the Government.

Addressing the rallyists, Mr. Madhusudan Reddy said the Government had tried to pit the people of Telangana against one another with the issuance of the GO 399.

It had no clear conscience as regards implementation of the GO 610, he added.
