Sandip Rai Rathore posted as JCP, Headquarters

CHENNAI: Sandeep Rai Rathore, Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG), who was recently shifted from the post of Joint Commissioner of Police (JCP), Central Zone, Chennai Police, and was awaiting posting, is the new JCP, Headquarters in the city.

In the latest shuffle of police officers, Pramod Kumar has been posted as the DIG, Railways, in the place of Karunasagar, who has been posted as DIG, Training, Chennai, vice Abhay Kumar Singh, who has been transferred as DIG, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption.

Ashok Kumar Das, hitherto Tirunelveli Commissioner, has been posted as DIG, Tiruchirappalli range. V. Balakrishnan is the new Superintendent of Police, Tiruvannamalai district vice S. Murugan, who has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Madhavaram.

On promotion, Amit Kumar Singh, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Paramakudi Sub-Division, has been posted as Superintendent of Police, Thanjavur district.
