Coimbatore: The Valliammal Institution, Madurai, is offering a six-month course in basic counselling skills through distance education.

The course is designed for professionals, medical professionals, social activists, teachers, youth, students and parents with the guidance of a Canadian Psychologist, Bryan Teixeira.

It is offered in both English and Tamil.
