Coimbatore: The Coimbatore City Police have arrested two persons on charges of indulging in chain snatching and have recovered two motorcycles and gold jewellery worth Rs. 1.11 lakh from them. Following incidents of chain snatching, City Police Commissioner C.K. Gandhirajan and Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime), R. Tamilchandran constituted special police teams. The teams arrested V. Inbasekaran (32) of Avanashi and S. Sathishkumar (24) of Annur and recovered the stolen gold chains and the motorcycle used for the crime besides another stolen motorcycle.
