London: Nine British players have been handed wild cards for the Wimbledon tennis championship, which begins on June 25. Thiemo de Bakker (Ned) was also given wild-card entry, while two other names will be announced later. Among women Viktoriya Kutuzova (Ukraine), Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova (Russia) and Caroline Wozniacki (Denmark) received it. British wild cards: Men: Alex Bogdanovic, Richard Bloomfield, Jamie Baker, Joshua Goodall and Jonathan Marray. Women: Anne Keothavong, Melanie South, Elena Baltacha and Naomi Cavaday.
