THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Communist Party of India(Marxist) (CPI-M) State secretary Pinarayi Vijayan is fighting a proxy war against Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan using the Communist Party of India (CPI), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State president P.K. Krishnadas said here on Tuesday. The CPI had obtained an illegal title deed for its office-cum-tourist home in the name of its leader P.K. Vasudevan Nair. It was making around Rs.1.25 crore a year through its resorts, Mr. Krishnadas said. The party had become a tool in the hands of the official faction of the CPI(M) for fear that it would lose the income. It also wanted to protect the Tata Tea Company, which was a milking cow for the party, he alleged.
