Arms dump unearthed

Rajahmundry: East Godavari police on Tuesday arrested three militants belonging to the CPI(ML) New Democracy on Tuesday. Addressing a press conference here, Superintendent of Police B. Srinivasulu said a dump was unearthed near Gorrebokka village in Malakonda Panchayat between Rampachodavaram-Maredumilli.

The police arrested M. Prasad, G. Ganganna and G. Khannanna, all part-time activists of the group. The police seized Rs.1.03 lakh cash, SLR live rounds, 303 live rounds, 8 mm live rounds, SBBL 12 bore cartridges and .315 cartridges, one transistor and two walkie-talkies.
