Avinashilingam University is offering a diploma in Applied Arts and Crafts, which includes arts and design, communicative arts, visual arts, creative arts, textile arts, computer arts, eco-friendly arts and entrepreneurship development.

Six-month certificate courses will also be offered in Food Production and Service (food science, bakery, food and beverage and food production), Apparel Designing (fashion fundamentals, fashion designing, apparel designing and surface enrichment), Computer Applications and Accounting Software (computer fundamentals, word processing and presentation graphics, spread sheet and database, web page designing and tally) and Herbal Beauty Care (basic skills in beauty therapy, skin care, hair care and health).

Kumbhabhishekam

Sree Prasanna Maha Ganapathy Temple will organise Ashtabandhana Kumbhabhishekam on June 17 at 7.30 a.m. on Malaviya Street, Ramnagar.
