LeT `militant' held in Delhi

1.5 kg of RDX, detonators, timer were seized

NEW DELHI:
An alleged militant belonging to the banned Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) was arrested by the Special Cell of the Delhi police at Azadpur Mandi here on Tuesday.
The police claimed to have seized 1.5 kg of RDX, two detonators and a timer from him.
On a tip-off that a militant with a consignment of explosives would come to Azadpur Mandi, the police laid a trap and the terrorist was arrested around 5.15 p.m.
He was identified as Mukhtiyar Ahmed Khan of Kupwara in Jammu and Kashmir. During the interrogation, he purportedly disclosed that he owed allegiance to LeT.
