Trains rescheduled

Thiruvananthapuram: The 6346 Thiruvananthapuram Central-Lokmanya Tilak Terminal Netravathi Express, scheduled to leave here at 10 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, will now leave at 11 a.m. on both the days owing to urgent work between Ochira and Kayamkulam railway stations.

The 2512 Thiruvananthapuram-Gorakhpur Raptisagar Express, scheduled to leave here at 5.20 a.m. on Wednesday, will now leave at 10.30 a.m. the same day. The rescheduling is owing to the late running of the pairing train. — Staff Reporter

Admission to Kendriya Vidyalaya

Thiruvananthapuram: Registration forms for admission to Classes I to IV for the academic year 2007-2008 in the new Kendriya Vidyalaya at SAP Camp, Thiruvananthapuram, will be issued from June 15 to 27. For details, contact the office of the school, a release here said. — Staff Reporter

Plus One admission

Thiruvananthapuram: The issue of application with prospectus for admission to Plus One under the single window system in the district has begun. The same application is for Government and aided schools and for merit and management seats. The last date for submitting the applications was June 23, a release from the Director of Higher Secondary Education said. The list will be published on June 27. The interviews will begin on July 9 and the classes on July 23. The admission process will be completed by July 31. — Staff Reporter

Passport office to function on Saturday

Thiruvananthapuram: The passport office in the city will function on Saturday to provide miscellaneous services such as ECNR, police clearance and various other endorsements on the passport. Applicants from Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam and Pathanamthitta districts can submit the applications between 9.15 a.m. and 1 p.m. Serviced applications will be returned the same afternoon. — Staff Reporter
