Southwest monsoon advances

CHENNAI: Southwest monsoon has further advanced into entire interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema, most parts of Telangana and most parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh. Conditions are favourable for its further advance into remaining parts of Telangana and remaining parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh during next two to three days.

FORECAST (valid until Friday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places over coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep, at many places over interior Karnataka and at a few places over Andhra Pradesh. Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

Outlook For Subsequent Two days: No significant change.
