Thimmakka in hospital

Bangalore: Salumarada Thimmakka was admitted to Victoria Hospital here on Wednesday evening.

According to Victoria Hospital authorities, the septuagenarian, who is known for having planted avenue trees in Hulikal village near Kudur, complained of cough and breathlessness.

Doctors who examined her said she had symptoms of pneumonia.

Thimmakka felt unwell on Sunday and was admitted to the general hospital in Tumkur. She was discharged on Tuesday.
