KSBC members to meet Prakash

BANGALORE: The Karnataka State Bar Council (KSBC) has taken up the cause of an advocate who was allegedly beaten up by the police in Bangalore a week ago when he went to assist his client.

KSBC chairman Rajendra Desai told presspersons here on Wednesday that he, along with other council members, would meet Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs M.P. Prakash, and urge him to initiate action against the errant police officials.

Mr. Desai said such incidents of unprovoked assault were regrettable and should be dealt with by the authorities in a firm manner. — Staff Reporter
