VIZIANAGARAM: Assembly Speaker K.R. Suresh Reddy will be coming here on Friday evening. He will attend Rotary golden jubilee anniversary function at Ananda Gajapathi Auditorium, celebrations committee chairman V. Chandrasekhara Rao said. Speaking to newsmen on Wednesday, Mr. Chandrasekhar said the Speaker would also inaugurate the Rotary Swargadhamam (burial ground) project built at a cost of Rs. 75 lakhs. He would hand over a model of the Swargadhamam to the Municipal Chairperson, Mr Rao said. He said in the burial ground amenities such as a beautiful garden, six bathrooms with running water, 200 lockers for storing ashes, prayer hall, a gallery with a capacity to accommodate over 150 people for watching rituals, mortuary for keeping two bodies at a time and a van to carry the dead to the burial ground were being provided. Already, 80 per cent of the work was completed with the contributions from general public, he said. Past governor R.K. Jain and club president P. Krishna were also present.
