TIRUPATI: Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati, has released the results of the national-level entrance test conducted for Siksha Sastri (B.Ed in Sanskrit) and Siksha Acharya (M.Ed in Sanskrit). The test was conducted by the varsity’s Institute of Advanced Study in Education (IASE) on all-India basis in which candidates from eleven states appeared. Interestingly, candidates from Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan have bagged the top slots in both the streams. As many as 427 out of 563 candidates who appeared for Siksha Sastri have passed while 136 have failed. Similarly, 47 of the 95 candidates who appeared for Siksha Acharya have passed, while 48 have been unsuccessful. Announcing the results here on Wednesday, the Vidyapeetha Vice-Chancellor Hare Krishna Satapathy expressed happiness over the increasing inclination for Sanskrit study among the youth. Top rankers
The top ten rankers in B.Ed entrance are S.L.Seetharama Sarma (Andhra Pradesh), Manmohan Sharma, Mahesh Chandra Joshi (both Rajasthan), D.Venubabu, S.Sreenivasa Rao (both AP), Pawankumar Gaur (Rajasthan), KNS Raman (AP), N.Vijayalakshmi (AP), G.Lakshminarayana (AP) and Prakash Chandra Mishra (Rajasthan). M. Ed. entrance
Similarly, the top five rankers in M.Ed. entrance are J.Venkat Rao (AP), Madan Singh (Rajasthan), OSRSVBS Sarma, R.S.Ramakrishna Simha and P.Arvind Kumar (All Andhra Pradesh). Registrar A.Gurumurti, test convener K. Ravisankara Menon and Finance officer S.Anand were present.
