Red sanders seized

KADAPA: Forest officials seized red sander logs worth of about Rs.3 lakh in two different raids in Kadapa district on Wednesday.

Forest officials arrested a mini-lorry driver Shaik Abdul Jabbar and seized 100 red sander logs worth about Rs. 1 lakh in Mallepalle beat in Porumamilla range, according to Forest Ranger Ravindra Reddy. In another raid, three persons were arrested and 278 red sander logs worth of about Rs. 2 lakh seized in Vanipenta range in Mydukur mandal. .-Staff Reporter
