Old man beaten to death

Sangareddy: Vallakati Lakshmaiah, 72, of Thogita under Medak revenue division was allegedly beaten to death by villagers for allegedly practicing black magic. Three suspects - Venkati, Lachaiah and Sayilu of the same village - with the help of few other villagers dragged Lakshmaiah to the village square on Tuesday night and beat him to death. They left the body at the Panchayat office. The police have booked a case and are investigating. Staff Reporter
