The National Cricket Academy (NCA) released a list of 25 under-19 probables from which the India under-19 team will be selected for the forthcoming tours of Sri Lanka and South Africa, probably in October. The probables were actually selected by the junior selection committee chaired by Sanjeev Sharma on Wednesday but the list was officially released on Thursday as the selectors wanted the Col. Hemu Adhikari Trophy tournament to be over before making it official. The logic was that a prior announcement might demoralise those players who missed out but who were still playing the Col. Hemu Adhikari Trophy tournament final. The selected probables will attend a camp at the NCA, the dates for which will be specified later. The probables: Rohan Banerjee, Harshad Khadiwala, Abhinav Mukund, T. Kohli, Manish Pandey, N. Einstein, Ankit Tiwari, Saurav Tiwari, Arpit Vasavada, Dhaval Kulkarni, Amanpreet Singh, Srikant Munde, Pradeep Sanghwan, P. Das, Mohd. Arif, Bharat Reddy, Tejasvi Yadav, Srivats Goswami, Rubin Dalwadi, Ravikant Saini, G.V.S. Prasad, K.P. Appanna, Iqbal Abdullah, Swapnil Singh and Mohd. Khalid. Stand-byes: Sunil Raju, Sarthak Mundva, Suffian Shaikh, Nitin Saini and Manish Sharma.
