Yogesh and Ilavazhagi clinch titles

NEW DELHI: Yogesh Pardeshi and I. Ilavazhagi won the men's and women's titles respectively in the Sundaram BNP Trophy inter-zone carrom championship at the Vishva Yuvak Kendra, Chanakyapuri, here.

The results:

Men: Final: Yogesh Pardeshi bt B. Radhakrishnan 25-20, 25-5; Third place: Dilesh Khedekar bt Nagsen Etambe 25-10, 0-25, 25-22.

Women: Final: I. Ilavazhagi bt Rashmi Kumari 25-8, 25-24; Third place: D. Swarnalatha bt R. Sharmila 25-0, 25-0.
