S.S. Pai will take on D. Kalyan in the cadet boys' final of the Inter-district sub-junior and cadet (boys and girls) carom selection trials at Fateh Maidan Indoor Stadium here on Friday. In the semifinals on Thursday, Pai blanked P. Sandeep 25-0, 25-0, while Kalyan put it across A. Sailesh 25-0, 25-19. The results: Sub-juniors: Boys: Semifinals: K. Srinivas bt K. Akash 25-6, 25-0; U. Naresh bt S. Snehit Raj 25-1, 25-1. Cadet boys: Semifinals: S.S. Pai bt P. Sandeep 25-0, 25-0; D. Kalyan bt A. Sailesh 25-0, 25-19.
