Sudhindra, Raghavendra shine

Bangalore: C. Raghavendra's haul of seven for 47 helped Social Cricketers defeat Jayanagar Colts by an innings and 63 runs in a KSCA Group I, first division league cricket match here recently.

Sudhindra Shinde's 139 helped Social Cricketers post 312 for seven declared in 74.2 overs in reply to Jayanagar Colts' 113. Later, Raghavendra's spell helped Social Cricketers bundle out Jayanagar Colts for 136 in its second innings.

The scores: Group I, first division: Jayanagar Colts 113 in 38.1 overs (Balasubramanya four for 11) and 136 in 43.4 overs (C. Raghavendra seven for 47) lost to Social Cricketers 312 for seven decl. in 74.2 overs (Sudhindra Shinde 139, Arun Bafna 50).

Group I, second division: Sir Syed Cricketers 31 in 20.2 overs (Abhay Naik nine for 22) lost to Jawahar SC (2) 34 without loss in 5.2 overs.

Group I, third division: Modern CC 188 in 52 overs (V. Prithvi 81 not out, N. Arvind four for 81) bt Chamrajpet CC 90 in 41.5 overs.
