Sarojini Nagar Gymkhana posts win

NEW DELHI: Saurabh Passi's knock of 69 helped Sarojini Nagar Gymkhana pass the 200-run mark before Raghvender Singh (four for 37) helped the team defeat Central Warehousing Corporation by 56 runs in a first round match of the DDCA Hot Weather cricket tournament here on Thursday.

The scores: Sarojini Nagar Gymkhana 216 for eight in 40 overs (Saurabh Passi 69, Rahul Tyagi 45) bt Central Warehousing Corporation 160 in 33.3 overs (Sachin Badana 54, Raghvender Singh four for 37).

Ashoka Club 127 in 40 overs lost to SB Youth 131 for three in 27.3 overs (Rahul Biloria 52 not out).

Maulana Azad Club 158 in 38.5 overs (Prabhakar Jha 43) lost to RP Academy 159 for nine in 39.1 overs (Anurag Tyagi 49).

South Delhi Colts 230 for eight in 40 overs (Vivek Kumar 86) bt Delhi Gymkhana 108 in 25 overs (Sahan John 44 not out).

Anand Sports 47 in 17.3 overs (Rahul Choudhary five for nine, Amnil Dhillon four for 36) lost to Super Star Club 51 for one in 7.1 overs.
