Monsoon further advances

CHENNAI: Southwest monsoon has further advanced into some parts of Telangana and entire coastal Andhra Pradesh.

FORECAST (valid until Saturday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places over coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep, at many places over Telangana and north coastal Andhrapradesh and at a few places over interior Karnataka, south Tamil nadu and south coastal Andhra pradesh. Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over north Tamil nadu, Puducherry and Rayalaseema.
