Udaipur Collector Shikhar Agrawal said on Thursday that sanction had been issued for constructing schools in the second phase in Jhadol, Khairwada, Sarada, Salumbar, Bhindar, Mavli and Girva blocks. The construction of residential schools in Gogunda, Kotra and Dhariawad blocks has been completed and the institutions are ready for teaching girl students from the new academic session beginning next month. Girls belonging to Scheduled Castes and Tribes, minority communities, Other Backward Classes and below poverty line (BPL) families will be admitted for education in these schools.

Mr. Agrawal said the construction of schools in the seven blocks would be completed in the current financial year. Each school will have facilities for imparting education to 100 girls.
