BANGALORE: The Karnataka High Court on Thursday vacated interim order seeking quashing of the voluntary scheme formulated by the State. The order follows the failure of more than 1,100 schools coming under Karnataka Unaided Schools Management Association to file affidavits undertaking to teach in the medium of instruction they have been permitted to use. Justice Rammohan Reddy, who is hearing the petitions vacated the interim order of stay on the scheme. Meanwhile, the Unaided Private Schools Action Committee on Thursday submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister H.D. Primary and Secondary Education Minister Basavaraj S. Horatti, who accepted the memorandum on behalf of the Chief Minister, had said that he would hold discussions with the schools after the cases pending were resolved, N. Venkatachaliah of the committee said.
