Rotary club’s CSR award for HSBC

CHENNAI: More and more companies are realising that good corporate practices are not only the right thing to do, but also the smart thing to do, according to U.S. Consul General for south India David T. Hopper.

It is no longer considered a waste of time, he said, conferring the corporate social responsibility (CSR) award for 2006-07 of the Rotary Club of Madras to Naina Lal Kidwai, Group General Manager and Country Head of HSBC, here on Tuesday.
