‘Quit Telangana’ stir to be intensified from July 1

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: Terming the Government’s decision to cancel the controversial GOs 399 and 415 as victory of employees and students, the Telangana Employees Association has asserted that it will continue to exert pressure for implementation of GO 610 before June 30.

At a round table meeting held here on Thursday to discuss GO 610, Telangana employee and student unions, with the support of political parties, decided to intensify ‘Quit Telangana’ movement from July 1 forcing the non-locals employees to go back to their native places. Telangana Employees Association president C. Vittal asserted that protests from the Telangana unions had forced the Government to withdraw the two hastily issued orders.
