Honour for veteran comedian

Actor Nagesh.
CHENNAI: It’s going to be a star-studded evening on June 17 at Kamarajar Arangam.
From director K. Balachander to comedian Vivek, a host of Kollywood celebrities will come together for ‘Endrendrum Nagesh’, a tribute organised by Abbas for the veteran comedian.
The invitees include Kamal Haasan, K. Bhagyaraj, Sripriya, Kushboo, Cho and Pandiayarajan. M.S. Viswanathan will preside over the event that also features poet Vaali, who has had a long association with Nagesh.
Ganesh Krupa will play only Nagesh songs. Nagesh debuted in “Thamaraikulam”, and went on to act in hundreds of films. Abbas Jayaraman said: “When we approached top stars with the proposal for a felicitation, the overwhelming response showed the respect Nagesh commands.”
