Power shutdown

BANGALORE: There will be no power supply on Friday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., as BESCOM (Bangalore Electricity Supply Company) officials will take up maintenance works on F10 feeder of Hoody MUSS. The affected areas include Garudacharpalya, RHB Colony and surrounding areas.

On Saturday, there will be no power supply from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., as officials of KPTCL (Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd.) will replace flashover lightning arrestors at Kothnur tap point.

The affected areas include Konankunte, Harinagara, Chunchagatta, Srinidhi Layout, Bank Colony, Ganapathipura, Bheereshwaranagar, Shivashakthinagar, Gururaghavendra Layout, Eshwarinagar, RBI Layout, Puttenahalli, Nataraja Layout, Brigade Millenium, Muniyappa Garden, Sarakki, K.R. Layout, J.P. Nagar V to VII phase, Arakere, Devarachikkanahalli, Kodichikkanahalli, Avalahalli, Gowravanagar, Anjanapura, Talaghattapura, Hulimavu Division, Weavers’ Colony, Gottigere, B.G. Road, MICO Layout, Begur, Kalena Agrahara, Shantiniketan, Lakshmi Layout, Arakere Layout, Vijaya Bank Layout, and Rotarynagar.

There will ne intermittent power supply on Friday and Saturday from 10.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., as BESCOM officials will take up inspection at the S6 sub-division.

The affected areas are Shakambarinagar, J.P. Nagar 9th Cross, and J.P. Nagar 1st, 2nd and 3rd Phase, D.S. Palya, parts of B.G. Road, and N.S. Palya.
