‘Indian’ strike called off , flights to resume

Hyderabad: Passengers breathed a sigh of relief after the ongoing strike by the employees of air carrier ‘Indian’ was called off on Thursday evening following talks between management and the agitating employees.

Delayed flights

However, of the 17 flights that operate on a daily basis from Hyderabad, nine flights were marginally delayed and eight flights were cancelled. The ‘Indian’ was forced to cancel three flights to Chennai, three to Mumbai, one each to Visakhapatnam and Kuwait.

“Flight operations will resume at a steady pace and everything will be normal by tomorrow”, an official said.
