Youth drowned

KOCHI: A man drowned when he went to bathe in a river in the evening, at Mattatham Kadavu, near St. John’s Hospital, in Udayamperoor. When Sinoj, 27, failed to come up to the bank after some time, his friends raised the alarm and informed the police and the Navy. After an hour’s search, the body was found. The police have kept the body in Thripunithura Taluk Hospital mortuary. — Staff Reporter
