Nishanth at the helm

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: M. Nishanth will lead the State junior hockey team for the National junior championship to be held in Chennai from June 18 to 30.

The 17-member team was selected after a 10-day coaching camp at the Anna Stadium in Palayamkottai.

The team: M. Nishanth (captain), S. Vivek, Vishu Raj, P. Jobish, Mohammed Anaz, Prijilal, P.A. Linto, Shamshudeen, T.P. Rahul, T.P. Mithun, Arun Raj, Vineeth Manual, Ajith Joseph, G.L. Kiran Kumar, Antony J. Fernandez, Naushad, R. Sivaprasad. Coach: Alisabir; Manager: Ravi Varma.
