NEW DELHI: Half-centuries by Sahil Kher (96) and Karan Harit (61) helped Young Cricketers defeat BSNL by five wickets and make it to the pre-quarterfinals of the DDCA Hot Weather cricket tournament here on Friday.
The scores: BSNL 247 for five in 40 overs (Joginder Singh 60, Brijesh Tomar 58 not out) lost to Young Cricketers 248 for five in 36.2 overs (Sahil Kher 96, Karan Harit 61 not out). Indian Airlines 213 for eight in 40 overs (Manvinder Bisla 63, R.S. Sodhi 54) bt Little Master 80 for three in 16.1 overs. RN Colts 210 in 38.2 overs (Baljeet Singh 69) bt GG Dutt Club 93 for three in 16 overs (Agnesh Surya 56). Gush Club 249 for seven in 40 overs (Sumit Dhiman 93, Randeep Singh 67) bt Sonnex Club 112 for four in 15.2 overs (Sant Rathi 40).
