YSR's claims on projects bogus, says TDP

HYDERABAD: Telugu Desam has charged Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy with misleading people with "bogus" claims over irrigation projects in North Coastal Andhra region.

At a press conference here on Friday TDP leaders — K. Yerran Naidu and M. Narsimhulu said people in the region know that it was during TDP's rule that most of these projects, from Vamsadhara, Thotapalli, Pedavagu to Andra were started.

Disputing Dr. Reddy's claims made while releasing water into right main canal of Vamsadhara in Srikakulam on Thursday, they challenged him to show "one project for which he laid foundation and completed it in the last three years." .
