A court here on Friday rejected a plea by BJP Member of Parliament Babubhai Katara, who is facing prosecution in the human trafficking case, to allow him to get medical treatment in a hospital outside Tihar Central Jail. A day after rejection of his bail plea, Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Kamini Lau said there was no sufficient ground for allowing Katara to be treated in a hospital outside the jail. In his plea, Katara had claimed that he was not being looked after well in the jail hospital. Meanwhile, the court also extended the judicial remand of Katara and other accused in the case.
