ANANTAPUR: Saving marriages by settling the differences between the husband and wife and other family problems on the spot was the objective behind the setting up of family counselling centres by the police, Superintendent of Police M.S. Raveendra said at Kalyanadurg in the district on Friday. Speaking after inaugurating a family counselling centre in Kalyanadurg police station, the SP asked the victims to avail the facility. The centres would not only try to resolve the family problems but would also try to provide comfort, solace and confidence among the victims. Families were being broken even for minor reasons and in a fit of emotion, he said.
